I want to report an 80+ year old woman who has been driving unlicensed for several years. She caused an accident about a month and a half ago when she made an illegal left turn which she was sighted for and released. When the dealership gave her a loaner car I immediately called them anonymously to inform them that. I want to report an 80+ year old woman who has been driving unlicensed for several years.
She caused an accident about a month and a half ago when she made an illegal left turn which she was sighted for and released. When the dealership gave her a loaner car I immediately called them anonymously to inform them that she was unlicensed. They took back that loaner car faster than she knew what was happening or how it happened. But now she just got her repaired car back and shes on the road again. Still no license and she failed to make her appointment at the DMV this week because she knew they would reject the renewal. I want to report her but I don't want her to know who reported her.
She thinks because she is filthy rich that she has the right to drive. How can I do this anonymously? Or do the police even care that these type of people are on the road? Best Answer: Call the police station and tell them you want to anonymously report an unlicensed driver that you believe to be very unsafe. They'll either redirect you to the proper channel or they'll take your anonymous tip right then and there. BTW elderly drivers should NOT be allowed to do whatever they want. Neither should any driver of any other age.
My Mother had my Grandmother's license taken away because she was always coming home with new dents in her car and wouldn't say how they got there. She'd started to go deaf and when we took her to the doctor they noticed that she displayed some odd repetitive behavior. She was diagnosed with alzheimers. She confessed later that she had done many 'hit and runs' because she didn't want anyone to notice her disease. (She had suspected that she had alzheimers.) Also, last year we were driving down one of the old highways around here. We were going straight along and had the right of way.
An elderly woman was about to turn onto the highway into our lane. We saw her look at us very clearly, look the other way, and pull out RIGHT INTO our big bright red truck. There's no way she didn't see us. It totalled our truck. Either her eyes were going from age, her brain was going from age, or she was a moron. If I had been in the passenger seat instead of the back I would have been killed. You need to be mature of mind AND FIT OF BODY to be a safe driver.
Not all elderly people are unsafe, but I certainly understand your concern. Courland, the suited technique, may be to circulate into your police station, ask to talk to a site visitors sergeant, relating to the difficulty, on the subsequent briefing, officer on patrol could have this published on their artwork sheets, to maintain an eye fixed out for those 2. In a remember as such, as quickly as that's been detected by ability of cops, it them turns right into a criminal cost.
As I mentioned Courland, utilising unregistered unlicensed, the fool desires to be caught by ability of police, and ingesting below the effect, and departing a scene of an twist of destiny, are criminal offences over there.
