Buy a high quality pasta brand like Barilla and you should be fine. Pasta can also stick for 3 reasons - being overcooked, not being stirred while cooking, and drying too long together. Bring the water to a boil, add a little salt to the boiling water, then add the pasta. Stir it once a minute for the first 3 minutes and one every few minutes after that.
