Hiren Boot Cd Sata Drivers
HI First of all, Hiren's Boot CD is an illegal disc which distribute Microsoft code without permission. So we don't support Hiren in this place. NOT really-really.
Hiren Boot Cd For Windows 10
Here is the collection of USB Drivers, SCSI Drivers, CD-ROM Drivers, SATA Driver, Ram Disk Drivers, and other useful dos Files. 2006 in Downloads by Hiren. Hirens BootCD does not recognize my hard drive. I went to Biostar's website and downloaded the Serial ATA AHCI drivers from here. In Hiren's Boot CD.
JFYI: Hiren's Boot CD is something that contains non-redistributable files, and it is illegal in most countries to redistribute non-redistributable files and/or use such files without a proper license. BUT quite a lot of people including Steve6375 and the board owner Nuno Brito have queer beliefs on the matter, the first not only supports it and it's use, including it as a provision in his known tool Easy2boot, but also goes at great lengths on his site and on this board in providing tutorials and help on how to use it. The latter has provided on this forum, in clear violation of the same Site Policies he wrote copied from those of Amnesty International for the site, this section to allow all users of those WAREZ to share tips on how to use it, ask and provide support for it, etc. The thing has been talked about extensively at the the time of the senseless decision to create this section of the board: and you will be happy to know how on Wikipedia reboot.pro is listed as it's 'Fan & Discussion Forum'.
It may be that you hard disk is 'sick' - try booting a Win7 Install DVD and see if you can access the hard disk using that first - if not then there is no point trying to get a backup program working! Well, I tried with windows install dvd, it did not detect it.
But my Hard disk is detected in BIOS as' IDE CHANNEL 2: SLAVE DISK', But my DVD ROM is detected as 'IDE CHANNEL 2: MASTER DISK'. Is that some sort of problem 1) This is the BIOS Configuration of the IDE CHANNELS 2) This is How the booting configuration is Note: First Boot Device was changed to CD ROM to Run PuPPYLINUX 3) This is the Booting Menu This sometimes shows my 160GB SATA HARD DISK under the Hard disk menu Edited by uDaM, 06 October 2013 - 10:57 AM. Well, I tried with windows install dvd, it did not detect it. But my Hard disk is detected in BIOS as' IDE CHANNEL 2: SLAVE DISK', But my DVD ROM is detected as 'IDE CHANNEL 2: MASTER DISK'. Is that some sort of problem It is difficult to know as the only details you have given about your system is that it is a 'computer'! Normally, the IDE HDD is the master and the CD is the slave. It suggests you have them on the wrong IDE connector and that the HDD is on the end of the IDE cable instead of in the middle. However, if it used to work like that before then it should continue to work now. If the interface is IDE, then Hirens, etc.
Should have no trouble seeing it (if it is actually working). Is it making any strange noises? Just to add - even if the BIOS can 'see' it, and knows what kind of a drive it is, etc.it can STILL be faulty. You can try other lower level HD diag tools to see if they can see more than just the electronic info that the bios is seeing. I would agree with Steve, that it sounds like disk drive is faulty.
And since you have Hirens, there are a lot of other tools on it that can help you figure out if the disk can even be read. And most of them are freely distributable, and not based on 'illegal' re-distribution of code.
( sorry for my english ) Hiren's BootCD is a great set of tools, especially MiniXP. I've used for many versions ago with new and old hardware. I have a nettop acer R1600 ( Revo ) with a slipstreamed ( nLite ) version of WinXP SP3 included NVIDIA ION drives and AHCI mode active. All work fine. With a external USB DVD drive, I can boot and load Hiren's BootCD without problems.
Horewer, the MiniXP can`t recognise any SATA hard drive with AHCI mode active. Prior to boot Hiren's BootCD,I need to change to IDE mode from BIOS in order for MiniXP can detect the hard drives. Neither I cant use the F6 key, becouse the nonexixtence of the floppy drive.
Then I wonder, exist any method to add new drivers to the MiniXP, directly into de Hiren's BootCD. Any comment or help are most welcome. Thanks for your reply. I'll test if MiniXP get the drivers from a USB stick. Also, I'll do some test with the new v13.1 and see what happens.
Thanks bad luck: - new miniXP from Hiren's BootCD v13.1 still won't recognice any hard drive with SATA AHCI mode active. I've trying to boot the nettop using a USB flash stick with uncompressed drivers and activating BIOS settings USB Floppy Emulation, but: a. Emulation AUTO or FLOPPY: miniXP load and later freeze at the second message 'loading Mini Windows XP'. Never shows up 'Hit F6.' Emulation HD: I can get the F6 menu, but miniXP can't see any floppy drive present. Examing the content of CD, I notice the file 'XP.WIM' wich I presum contains the image of miniXP. I don't know if exist a tool to handle this king of image and can integrate drivers into that.wim file.
Hiren's Bootable CD
I am sure there is a way to update drivers, Hiren says that on his website' Create a new folder HBCD XP Drivers Place your driver files in that folder. It will search 'Drivers' (including subfolders) and add them automatically. That's the best I can figure. 'Portable Windows Xp that runs from CD/USB/Ram Drive to repair/recover dead windows operating system. It has LAN and WLAN (Wireless) Network includes 300 WiFi/Ethernet card drivers and can also be customized easily to add your own drivers in HBCD Drivers folder'.
